Mariana Diaz

Mariana is an incoming senior at Vandegrift High School with a strong passion for business, entrepreneurship, and innovation. She currently manages a local food and beverage business, where she oversees and implements processes for operations, finance, marketing, sales and human resources, holding a Texas Food Manager Certification. This hands-on leadership role has sharpened her skills in problem-solving, communication, and strategic thinking. Mariana recently completed a summer Business, Entrepreneurship & Innovation program in Oxford, UK. There, she collaborated with students from around the world to tackle real-world business challenges and explore emerging trends in AI and innovation. She had the opportunity to learn alongside successful entrepreneurs and Oxford graduates, and was recognized with the “Effort Award” for her consistency and efficiency throughout the program. In addition to her business pursuits, Mariana is a dedicated athlete, now entering her second year on the, state champion winning, Vandegrift High School tennis team. She was honored with the “Most Improved” award in her first year, despite having no prior experience. Looking ahead, Mariana plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, with the goal of launching her own business or renovating an existing company through innovation and strategic leadership.
